comprising a pair of Regency painted faux-bamboo rush-seat side chairs, circa 1810, and a pair of George III polychrome-painted rush-seat side chairs, circa 1800.

Condition

The faux bamboo chairs are in good condition and a bit worn; wear and small losses to the painted decoration; the rush seats are in very good condition and are sturdy; one chair with bowing to the front rail which is coming away from the seat slightly. The other pair with extensive losses to the painted decoration which is almost all gone; the rush seats are dry; chairs are a little wobbly.
