Description

molded and painted on one side with an anchor and on the other with two ships at sea, with a cork stopper. Together with a Grainger's Worcester porcelain scent bottle, circa 1815 painted with a view titled Nr WorcesterGrainger Lee & Co mark in iron-red, a Continental porcelain 'wickelkind' scent bottle and stopper and a gilt-metal-mounted shell  adapted as a snuff box and cover. 6 pieces.

Condition

Faïence bottle: replacement cork stopper; minor chip and haircrack to the rim; glaze crazing overall. Grainger's bottle: lacking stopper; some flaking to the green enamel; minorrubbing to the gilding. Wickelkind: Generally good condition. The shell has been cut and adapted with hinged mounts as a box.
