comprising: a large tankard transfer-printed with a farmyard scene, a two-handled loving cup, a jug molded with a hunt scene, a bamboo-molded jug, a silver-lustre jug with a yellow floral band, a small mug transfer-printed with portraits of Lafayette and Washington, and a small oval basket. Together with six French P&H Choisy yellow-ground plates transfer-printed with hunt scenes. 13 pieces.

Condition

All with some minor wear and scratches to the enamel overall. The large tankard: It has an approximate 2-inch haircrack running down the rim. It has been broken into several pieces and restored back. There are several tiny chips to the footrim. Loving cup: It has an approximate 2-inch restored haircrack running down the rim. There is an approximate 1/8-inch chip to the lower edge of one handle. Jug with a hunt scene: There is an approximate 1 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim. There are some very minor abrasions to the rim edge; otherwise in good condition. Bamboo-molded jug: There is an 1/8-inch chip to the edge of spout. There is a 1/4-inch chip to the edge of the handle. There are very few tiny pinhead chips or glaze chips around the body at the high points of the molded bamboos. Silver-lustre jug: The handle has been off and glued back. There is an approximate 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim. There are three small chips to the rim edge and another 1/8-inch chip to the edge of the spout. There is some minor wear to the silver lustre overall. Small mug: On either side of the portraits, at the rim edge, there are two approximate 2-inch restored areas, possibly covering haircrack/s or chip/s. Small basket: In generally good condition. French plates: There is considerable scratches and wear to the enamels, consistent with use, as well as some minor and occasional abrasions to the rim edge. One has a 1/4-inch flat chip that has been re-glued. One has several short haircracks in the cavetto area, of which some are restored. Another has a 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim and a starcrack in the center.
