two with impressed CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER, two with Chamberlain & Co / 155 / New Bond Street in script and five with impressed circular factory mark.
Condition
Five plates, circa 1770, painted in the atelier of James Giles: all with some occasional minor grittiness to the glaze and some minor wear to the enamels, particularly on the high points of the molded decoration, and some very minor rubbing to the gilding of the rims; one with two 1/2-in. chips to the rim; another with more noticeable wear to the green leaves in the cavetto.
The remaining nine plates: some crazing and occasional minor wear to the enamels; one with a haircrack to the rim and another across the center; one with a haircrack to the rim; one with a haircrack to the rim and a two small rim chips; one with two haircracks to the center; two discolored, one of which has considerable wear to the enamels and gilt rim, two haircracks to the rim and a starcrack to the center, the other with a haircrack to the center; one with considerable wear to the enamels and gilding and two haircracks to the center; two in generally good condition.
