characteristically painted with a large tobacco blossom, a crysanthemum and sprays of other smaller flowers and leaves against and amongst an arrangement of overlapping large yellow, turquoise, blue and pink gilt-heightened leaves.

Condition

Both the tureen and cover have very minor rubbing to the gilding. Tureen: The floral handles of the tureen, each has one small chip to the edge and some further very minor chipping to the edges; both stems of the floral knobs have very minor flaking to the green enamel. The tureen has very few areas of minor flaking to the enamel, which are hard to spot and are not disfiguring. Cover: The cover has restoration to the edges of two petals on the floral knob. There is some minor scratching and wear to the pale green leaf near the rim edge. Otherwise in good condition.
