comprising: a teapot and cover, a smaller teapot and cover, an oval tray, two oval dishes, two shell-shaped dishes, four saucer dishes in three sizes, three sugar bowls in two shapes, a two-handled sugar bowl, four milk jugs in three shapes, two waste bowls, five large dessert plates, nine dessert plates, a fruit plate, three large teabowls, a large beaker-form mug, twenty teacups, sixteen coffee cups and thirty-three saucers, impressed crowned BFB, impressed crowned FBB or underglaze-blue crescent marks to most. Together with a similarly-decorated Continental porcelain small teabowl. 117 pieces.
Condition
There is some very minor and occasional scratching and wear to the enamels as well as some minor rubbing to the gilding, consistent with use. Otherwise, all in good condition, except:
Teapot and cover: the teapot has a very tiny abrasion at the tip of the spout and an approximate 1 1/2-inch haircrack running along the footrim and forking in two short haircracks.
Smaller teapot and cover: The cover has an approximate 1/8-inch rim chip.
Oval tray: There is some firing-related speckling overall.
Large dessert plates: One has a 1/2-inch flat chip to the footrim.
Large beaker-form mug: has a minuscule chip to the footrim.
Twenty teacups: One with two minuscule chips to the footrim.
Saucers: Six with several minuscule chips to the footrim.
