probably Caughley, each piece finely painted in the center with a flower specimen, titled on the reverse, comprising: four square shaped dishes, two kidney-shaped dishes, two lozenge-shaped dishes, two oval dishes, a deep oval shaped bowl, two sugar bowls and covers and nineteen dessert plates. 34 pieces.
Condition
All with some occasional wear to the gilding along the rim edges and some very minor wear or scratches to the enamels on the central botanical paintings, consistent with use.
Otherwise, all in good condition, except:
One sugar bowl has a 1/8-inch rim chip that is gilt over, which could possibly be firing-related fault. One cover has three tiny chips to the flange.
One dessert plate has a 2-inch restored rim chip.
