comprising: a large footed circular soup tureen and cover, two circular vegetable dishes and covers, a 14 3/8-inch oval platter, two 13 3/4-inch oval platters, three 10 1/2-inch oval platters, two sauce tureens, covers and a stand, four shell-shaped dishes, two lozenge-shaped dishes, a two-handled footed centerpiece bowl, sixteen dinner plates with molded rims, twelve large dessert plates with molded rims, four small dessert plates with molded rims and sixteen dessert plates, crowned crossed batons mark in red. Together with a Grainger's Worcester floral-decorated large platter and a Daniel 'Active Service' pattern footed two-handled center bowl. 74 pieces.
Condition
All with some very minor and occasional wear to the gilding.
A large footed circular soup tureen and cover: The cover has an 1 1/2-inch haircrack running vertically upwards from the opening for the spoon. The handles of the tureen have some very minor crazing.
Two circular vegetable dishes and covers: One cover has some minor discolored crazing specifically along the rim. Otherwise in good condition.
14 3/8-inch oval platter: some minor discolored crazing specifically along the rim. Otherwise in good condition.
Two 13 3/4-inch oval platters: One with some speckling and some minor discolored crazing along the border.
Three 10 1/2-inch oval platters: One with some discolored scratches and very minor crazing.
Two sauce tureens, covers and a stand: The stand has crazing overall, which has discolored. One sauce tureen has one off the handles broken off; the piece is now retained. Otherwise in good condition.
Four shell-shaped dishes: One with some very minor speckling to the edges and all with very occasional and minor crazing.
Two lozenge-shaped dishes: Both with some minor discolored crazing. One with several very short haircracks running down the rim.
Two-handled footed centerpiece bowl: In good condition apart from very minor crazing to the edges.
Sixteen dinner plates with molded rims: Four plates with some very minor speckling to the border of the plates. One plate with an extended startcrack in the center. One plate with a 1-inch rim chip. One plate with an approximate 6-inch crack running along the cavetto. One with an approximate 5-inch long haircrack running across the center of the plate. One with crazing overall, the crazing along the border has discolored.
Twelve large dessert plates with molded rims: All with occasional varying degrees of crazing. One plate with several shirt haircracks running down the rim. One plate has the gilding along the edges misfired.
Four small dessert plates with molded rims: Two with discolored crazing overall.
Sixteen dessert plates: All in good condition apart from very minor crazing.
Grainger's Worcester floral-decorated large platter: Good condition.
Daniel 'Active Service' pattern footed two-handled center bowl: There 6 approximate 2-inch haircracks running upwards from the foot. There are several haircracks around the handles, one of which continues down to the center of the bowl on one handle. There are two extended haircracks running down the rim towards the center. There is another starcrack near the stem of the bowl curving around the stem.
