each painted on the exterior sides with alternating scenes of a dragon or a phoenix amidst auspicious clouds, raised on four paw feet.
Condition
There is some occasional wear to the enamels and some wear to the gilding on the paw feet. One has an approximate 4 1/2-inch section broken off at the rim edge and restored with made-up pieces. The same pot has several chips to each of the three covers. The second one has several chips measuring up to 1 inch to the edge of the base. Two of the paw feet have been broken off from the square base and glued back. The pot has also been broken off, where it meets three of the paws and glued back. There are minuscule chips to the edges of the paw feet. The third one has an extended forking crack on one side of the vase and associated pinhead chips on the exterior; it is possible that the bough pot has taken a hit on that side. There are several small chips to the edges of the base. The forth one has a tiny chip to one corner at the rim edge and several chips or flat chips to the edges of the base.
