each piece of octagonal form, decorated with alternating panels of flowers issuing from rockwork on a red ground or a green ground centering a white mons device, comprising: thirty-one dinner plates, sixty-two dessert plates, three waste bowls, twenty-nine tea bowls and twenty-three saucers and eleven teacups and thirty-one saucers, crowned crossed batons and script D mark. 190 pieces.

Condition

Thirty-one dinner plates: Some minor and occasional stacking wear to the enamels in the cavetto area and some very minor scratching to the enamels in the center consistent with use. One with a 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim towards the center. Otherwise in good condition. Sixty-two dessert plates: Some minor and occasional stacking wear to the enamels, especially in the cavetto area and some very minor scratching to the enamels in the center consistent with use. Two plates, each has a 1/4-inch chip to the footrim. One with some minor flaking to the black enamel. One with a tiny rimchip. One with two fine 2 1/2-inch haircrack issuing from the footrim and curving upwards to the cavetto area, which is not visible from the exterior. Four plates, each with a haircrack, measuring from 1 to 2 inches, running down the rim. One has an extended firing fault running 3/4 of the circumference in the cavetto area. One with an extended starcrack in the center. One has a 2 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim and continuing to the center with an associated small footrim chip. One has a 4 inch curving haircrack in the center. Two plates, each with a 2-inch haircrack in the center. Three waste bowls: Some very minor wear and occasional to the enamels. One has a restored 3 1/2-inch haircrack running down the rim. Others are in good condition. Twenty-nine tea bowls: Some very minor wear and occasional to the enamels. One with a tiny footrim chip and very minor discoloration. One has a pinhead chip to the footrim. Otherwise in good condition. Twenty-three saucers: Some very minor and occasional scratches and/or stacking wear to the enamels. Two, each with a haircrack running across the base and stopping at the footrim. Eleven teacups: Some wear to the gilding on the handles. Eight teacups with one or two haircracks running down the rim, one of which also has a small associated flatchip to the interior of the rim. Thirty-one saucers: Some very minor and occasional scratches and/or wear to the enamels. Some with very few small areas at the rim, where the glaze hasn't taken. Four, each with a tiny rim chip.
