Condition

Watercolor on watermarked laid paper. Sheet is hinged along upper edge with white paper tape. Surface in generally good condition, colors are lively and fresh. Some fading in lower quarter of picture. Areas of restoration at extreme corners. A quarter inch tear at extreme upper right edge. Verso: Mat stain and some surface dirt. Scattered creases and handling marks, not visible on recto. A 2.5 inch horizontal crease extending from the center right edge, not visible on recto.
