Pochoir stencil print, unframed. THE FIRST, Recto: Printed surface in excellent condition. Two areas of loss in extreme upper corners of sheet, likely from previous matting. Two 1/2 inch tears visible under loss at upper left hand corner. Mat stain and scattered foxing and stray marks visible in the sheet around the image. Verso: Three pieces of previous hinging tape visible at extreme left edge. Scattered stray marks and foxing, light mat stain. THE SECOND, Recto: Printed surface in excellent condition. In the sheet, one 2 inch tear visible in the upper right hand corner. Another 2 inch tear visible at extreme lower edge. Sheet displays signs of mat stain, some scattered foxing and stray marks. Paper faults visible in the sheet. Small loss at extreme lower right hand edge. Verso: Three pieces of previous hinging tape visible at extreme left edge. Scattered stray marks and foxing, light mat stain. Please contact the department for images of entire sheet. Sheet would respond well to light conservation.
