Condition
Oil on paper laid down on canvas. Surface in generally good condition, aside from a two inch abrasion and associated loss visible at base of the figure's neck and a small elevated scratch visible at lower left. An irregular raised horizontal line across the top quarter of the composition, possibly a repaired tear. Surface dirt and dirty varnish. Under UV light; no apparent inpainting, a think green masking varnish visible.
