Condition
Oil on paper laid down on canvas. Artist pinholes visible at the corners. Not visible in the current matting: extreme edges of sheet of paper are exposed and occasionally abraded. Minor undulations visible at the upper left and lower right and left corners. A small hole in the paper in the window 3 inches to the right of the bottleneck; a small dent and accompanying tear in the lower right corner of same window. Yellowed varnish. Under UV light, very minor scattered retouchings, including very minor strengthening to the signature: in "Bernard" at the bottom of "B" and the bottom of the "a"; in "Buffet", the 1st of the two "f"s and the "e".
