Catalogue Note

Camille Pissarro spent the summers of 1856, 1857 and 1859 with his family between La Roche-Guyon and Montmorency, both on the border of Normandy, west of Paris. The present lot closely relates to another drawing depicting La Roche-Guyon drawn from within the village and dated 1859.
