Condition
The canvas is lined and strip-lined.There is a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however UV examination reveals retouching to parts of all four extreme edges, some spots of retouching in places along the upper and lower edge, with a 2 by 2 in. spot towards the upper left corner. There are fine and stable lines of craquelure predominantly to the upper half. This work is in generally good condition.
