Condition
The canvas is unlined. The surface bears a richly textured impasto. There are two areas of restoration visible on the back of the canvas; one corresponds to the figure's left ankle and the other to the dark green pigment at center left. There is some minor frame abrasion at the lower left corner. Under UV light: Some strokes and small dots of inpainting are visible in places to the extreme perimeter to address prior frame abrasion. In addition a 2 inch area on figure's left ankle and to the right of ankle show inpainting to address a repaired tear. Additionally there are some areas of inpainting in the green pigment at center left, also to address a repaired tear. There are a few dots of inpainting in the figure's let arm; otherwise fine. This work is in overall good condition.
