Condition

The canvas is strip lined and lined with a thin layer of wax. The surface is nicely textured. Minor signs of frame abrasions to extreme edges. A faint horizontal scratch running horizontally through the center of the vase as well as a few faint lines of craquelure towards the center left edge of the vase. Under UV light a thin layer of varnish is difficult to read through, although some small scattered strokes of inpainting are visible near center left of vase, lower left edges of the two roses at bottom left, and in the center of the blossom of rose at center, as well as scattered throughout the background. Overall the work is in fair condition.
