Condition

Executed on paper mounted on canvas. This work is nicely textured and the pigments are clean and fresh. There is some shrinkage in the black pigment of the figure's hat and a few lines of thin craqueleuere to the figure's upper torso. Under UV light there is a thin layer of varnish although a thin horizontal line of fluorescence across the center of the composition indicates prior restoration to a crease or read. Otherwise fine. This work is in overall good condition.
