Condition

This work is in overall good stable condition. The canvas is lined. The paint surface is richly textured and stable. Small stable areas of scattered hairline craquelure throughout, notably in the purple, mint green and white pigment of the upper half of the composition and in the light blue of the lower half. Under UV light: scattered spots of faint fluorescence with larger spots of restoration in the upper corners, towards the center of the composition (below the child), at the lower center and lower right. Otherwise, fine.
