Condition
The canvas has been lined with a wax canvas. The surface is slightly dirty but the colors are bright and fresh. Some faint lines of pentimenti are visible within the sky. There are extremely fine lines of craquelue to the lower right corner as well as a quarter-inch loss along the extreme lower right edge. Under UV light: no inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in very good condition.
