Condition
Work is in overall good condition. The pigments remain fresh and vibrant. The canvas is lined. There is a thin surface scratch visible towards the lower left corner and some minor old frame abrasion along the extreme perimeter. There is some minor stable shrinkage in the light blue pigment of the cloth towards lower left edge. Under UV light: there is a thick varnish which impedes a thorough examination but faint fluorescence indicates some old retouching along the edges and in two thin lines just below the point where the blue pot meets the cloth.
