Condition
This work is in very good condition. The panel is sound. There are a few small spots of paint loss along the perimeter due to frame abrasion (not visible when framed) which have been lightly retouched in places. There are two very thin vertical lines of stable craquelure in the left part of the composition and a smaller one just above the figure's hat. Under UV light: there is a thin varnish which impedes a thorough examination although a thin line of retouching is visible to the left of the figure and there is a pindot of retouching towards the center of the upper edge which is not visible when framed.
