Condition

The canvas is unlined. Undulation to the canvas near the upper corners. There is an illegible inscription on the back of the canvas. Under UV light there are a few spots of inpainting in the principle figures knee and extending below her knee to the bottom edge, which correspond to two patches on the back of the canvas. There are also some spots along the right edge, most likely to address prior frame abrasion. Some white fiber is present in the paint layer. This work is in generally very good condition.
