Condition

Work is in very good original condition. Canvas is not lined and impasto is very well preserved. There is a layer of varnish on the surface which is clean. Some minor pigment shrinkage in darkest greens. Under UV light: a few strokes of inpainting along extreme bottom edge a center of side edges to address prior frame abrasion, as well as a few strokes in central foreground and a few tiny pindots in sky near edges. A vertical stretcher bar mark is very faintly visible at center, otherwise fine.
