Condition

The board is stable. UV light examination reveals two isolated small spots of retouching to the left of the tall tree and towards the centre of the extreme left edge (each approx. 5mm). The extreme edges are worn from previous framing with a few tiny associated pigment and material losses. There are some scattered residues along the edges from previous mounting. There are pinholes to three of the four corners and to the centre of the upper edge and there is a horizontal line towards the lower edge, inherent to the board and only visible in a raked light. This work is in overall good condition.
