Condition
Pastel on canvas affixed onto a board, which is stable. The canvas does not appear to be laid down as it is very gently undulating in places, and it has not been possible to unframe this work. The canvas may have been primed in places, visible along the extreme right edge. UV examination reveals a tiny spot of darkening, which could be pigment, towards the centre and above the orange horizontal band in the sky. There is a tiny spot of pigment loss to the centre of the lower right quadrant, with an associated dent running vertically along the centre of the right edge. This work is in overall good condition.
