Condition

Executed on buff coloured wove paper, not laid down and taped in two places along the upper edge. The right and lower edges are deckled and all four edges have been reinforced with tape. The sheet is time stained. There is a stain (approx. 1cm) to the lower part of the left edge, not visible when framed. There is a partially repaired tear (approx. 1.5cm) to the centre of the upper edge and a fine diagonal crease across the lower left corner (approx. 19cm). There are some paper remnants possibly from a previous mount along the upper edge and in places along the left and lower edges. There is a small pinhole to the black dress of the left figure towards the lower edge. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
