Condition

The canvas is lined. There is a layer of milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however, UV examination does reveal a small spot of retouching to the upper part of the left edge with some very fine lines of associated craquelure and two further minor in-fills to the lower part of the composition (each less than approximately 4mm. long). There is some tape slightly visible to all four edges when framed. This work is in overall good condition.
