Condition

Executed on cream paper, most probably taken from a magazine, featuring the word L'Homme printed in the centre, not laid down and t-hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge. The lower edge is torn from the publication. There are watercolour, crayon and pencil annotations to the verso and visible on the online catalogue. There are two artist's pin holes to the centre of the upper edge and a strip of discolouration to the centre part of the upper edge from previous tape. There are a few tears to the upper part of the left edge (of which the longest is approx. 1cm. long and all but one of which are repaired) and a few very minor nicks in places to the lower edge. There is some scattered studio dirt in places and several faint spots of foxing, predominantly to the upper part of the sheet and along the lower edge. This work is in overall good condition.
