Condition

There is a historic break in the lip of the jug which would have occurred during the firing process. There is some very minor movement but it appears to be entirely stable: filling the break would be done solely for aesthetic purposes. There is some discoloured tape residue around the break on the exterior which could be greatly reduced with conservation. This work is in overall very good condition.
