Condition

The canvas is lined and there is a thin web of stable craquelure throughout the surface. UV examination reveals several strokes of retouching just above the figures to the right to address some hairline cracking, and a few small strokes at the centre of the composition and just above the lower right edge. There are some pin-sized retouchings just below the centre of the upper edge and near the centre of the lower left quadrant. There is a nail head-sized loss to the centre of the composition. Overall this work is in good condition.
