Condition
The canvas is not lined and is slightly loose and undulating. UV examination reveals a few small strokes of retouching along the extreme upper edge to address frame abrasion. There are areas of thin stable craquelure as well as some pigment shrinkage in the purples along the left edge and in the upper right quadrant. There are a few associated pin-sized losses throughout. The thick impasto is well preserved and this work is in overall good original condition.
