Condition

The board is stable. There is a layer of varnish, preventing UV light from fully penetrating, however UV examination does reveal a line of retouching with associated minor spots towards the left of the upper edge, relating to a 3.5cm crease, a few more spots to the edges of the upper left corner, a spot of retouching associated to previous paint loss to the centre of the lower left corner and a few spots to the lower right corner, relating to some support loss. There is a further 4cm diagonal crease, a few noticeable creases in places along the lower edge and a vertical crease across the second right tree trunk. There is some frame rubbing to the upper and right edges. Otherwise this work is in good overall condition.
