Condition
The collage elements are secure and attached to the artist's mount. There is some overall time-staining and some foxing to the artist's mount. The artist's mount is attached along all four edges to the over-mount so that the edges are not visible, nor the verso of the artist's mount. This work is in overall good condition.

Catalogue Note
This work was executed in 1937, as stated in the Schwitters Catalogue raisonné. The erroneous date of 1920 was apparently added in pencil to the artist's mount by the New York gallerist Rose Fried, who handled several works by Schwitters in the 1950s.
