Condition

The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any traces of retouching visible under UV light. There are fine lines of paint shrinkage to the terracotta pigment, predominantly to the upper left corner, along the upper left edge and towards the lower right corner. There is some stable craquelure to the creases on the lower part of the curtain towards the upper left corner and there is some frame rubbing to the edges. Otherwise this work is in good condition.
