The canvas is not lined, and the surface is richly textured. The edges are taped to the stretcher. The canvas is slightly buckling at the upper left corner and there are a few small scattered dots of surface dirt and old varnish visible throughout, which could easily be removed by cleaning. There are a few tiny pin-sized piant losses at the extreme lower left corner. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of any retouching. Overall, this work is in very good condition.
