Condition

The canvas is not lined and the edges have been reinforced with tape. There are some minor traces of surface dirt, but otherwise the colours are fresh and bright. Throughout the white background, there is some scattered unevenness in tone, which is visible in the catalogue illustration, although this may by inherent to the artist's technique. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of inpainting or retouching. Overall, this work is in very good condition.
