Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals three repaired tears to the right of the composition, not affecting the flowers, with associated retouching. There are a few further lines and spots of retouching in places along the upper edge in some places to the background and in parts along the extreme left edge. There are a few tiny spots of retouching to the red flowers on the right of the vase and there is a further area to the white pigment below. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though slightly lighter in the original.
