Condition

The canvas is lined and there is a thick varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate, but there do not appear to be any signs of retouchings visible under UV light. There is some staining to the lining canvas. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall less yellow in the original and the greens are brighter.
