Condition

The panel is sound. UV examination reveals intermittent retouchings to the extreme edges, due to previous framing, and a few very minor scattered spots of retouching to the sky. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition. Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though brighter and less purple in the original.
