Condition
Executed on a sheet which has been laid down on an Ingres backing paper, which is fixed to the mount at all four corners. There is some evidence (in the form of very minor creases) that the sheet has previously been folded in four, most probably by the artist. There is a spot of paint loss to the blue pigment towards the lower left quadrant and a further few small paint losses in places, to the thickly painted pigments. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
