Condition
The board is very slightly warped, predominantly towards the lower left corner. There is a pinhole to each of the upper right and lower right corners and UV examination reveals a few scattered spots of retouching, mainly running along the extreme left edge and in places towards the upper right edge. A few further spots of retouching are visible to the left edge of the leftmost tree, also visible under UV light. There is some light frame rubbing with associated paint loss in places along the left, right and lower edges, and a further few small scattered spots of paint loss at the extreme left and right corners. The extreme upper edge towards the centre has been slightly bent with some associated paint loss and which is not visible when framed. The surface has a lovely rich texture and the work is in overall good condition.
