Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few tiny spots of fluoresence to the blue and green pigments towards the centre of the lower edge, which may be retouchings. There is a small spot of paint loss to the rider's left arm. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition and has a lovely rich impasto surface.
