Condition

The canvas is not lined and there appear to be no traces of retouching visible under UV light. There are some spots of minor paint loss in places, the largest of which are above the collar of the harlequin underneath his right ear and to the rim of his hat by his right ear. There are some fine lines of shrinkage to some of the dark green pigments and along the table. The surface has a lovely texture and the work is in overall very good condition.
