Condition

Overall this work is in good condition. Executed on laid paper which has been laid down on card, and is hinged to the passepartout in the upper left and right corners. There are some scattered small drop marks in the sky, notably in a vertical circa 3cm line in the upper right, and a circa 2 by 1.5cm area of retouching to the right of this, and there is a minor 0.5cm vertical tear in the extreme lower edge, left of centre. There is some old adhesive residue along the extreme right edge (covered by the mat) and scattered shiny spots primarily in the left quadrant (visible under raking light). Presented in a simple gilt frame, the mat covering the extreme edges of the sheet, under glass.
