Condition

The sheet has been laid down onto card. Apart from one small tear each in the extreme lower left and upper-right corners (the latter in the '1' of the signature area), a tiny indentation to the lower left of the man's beard, and two very light, minor scuffs in the background near the centre of the right framing edge, this work is in good condition. Held in a decorative faded gilt frame, with a cloth-covered inner slip which is just covering the extreme edges of the sheet, under glass.
