  • 18k yellow gold, diamond, ruby, green agate and obsidian
  • width 42 cm; height 35 cm
• swiss B21 quartz movement, 13 jewels • gilt and diamond-set dial with ruby-set five-minute divisions, gold and diamond decorative-shaped hands, the circular gold case housing the movement with diamond-set bezel, the whole resting on two large natural quartz rocky landscape, cascading between the rocks is a realistically sculptured rock crystal waterfall accented with silver and diamond-set water crests flowing into a rock crystal shimmering pool, the pool itself interspersed with naturalistic gold diamond and green enamel reeds, frolicking in the pool a majestic scene of a mother elephant realistically carved in obsidian, playing with her realistically carved obsidian elephant calf, the pool surrounded by variegated colored stones, a carved green agate water foliage, the rocky background also with a naturalistic gold textured climbing tree with green agate leaves, gold and ruby-set calyx • base and movement signed

Condition

A magnificent and stunning clock. The gold is tarnished but will clean. Beautifully textured. The present elephants are the exact copies of the original. The original oness were damaged and these elephants have been remade by the original manufacturer and craftsmen. Dial is clean, movement is presently working. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense.
