The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Dial with signs of ageing and some discolouration. Glass with deeper scratch on the lower part. Case with signs of extensive wear. Case stamped with Swiss assay marks and French import marks, both for platinum.

Catalogue Note
Reference 425 was launched in 1934 and offered in the official catalogue until 1960. It was then replaced by the slightly larger reference 2461. About 130 watches of this reference in platinum are known to the market today.
