Catalogue Note
The Santa Maria, Christopher Columbus’s boldest sailing merchant ship, was often endearingly called the Gallant Maria by her crew. The flagship vessel, the largest of three used for the explorer’s first expedition in 1492, was regal and daring.
For each individual dial, more than 50 working hours and 26 baking processes are required to create the cargo ship on the sea in vivid colouring and with exact specifications, using the ancient cloisonné enamel technique.
The Classico Limited Edition Santa Maria is available in a limited edition of 30 pieces, each in 18k pink and white gold.
